Amherst Youth Cheer provides athletes with an introduction to cheerleading fundamentals for recreational/sideline cheerleading (no tumbling). Our program is open to athletes in grades 1st – 6th in Amherst, Ohio. AYC cheers for both recreational football and basketball for the city of Amherst. Our program is designed to teach athletes cheerleading, improve team-building skills, build self-confidence, and promote fitness. AYC is open to all children who reside within the Amherst Exempted Village School District. Our program is run by volunteers who want to give back to their community.
