AYC Policies

Welcome to our youth cheer group! We are committed to providing a safe and fun environment for our young cheerleaders. To ensure that everyone has a positive experience, we have established the following policies:

  1. Safety: The safety of our cheerleaders is our priority. We suggest all cheerleaders have a physical exam prior to participating, and we follow all guidelines set forth by our governing organization. We also ensure all of our coaches pass a background check and adhere to our code of conduct and expectations.
  2. Behavior: We expect all cheerleaders to behave in a respectful and positive manner at all times. This includes being respectful to coaches, fellow cheerleaders, and opponents. Any inappropriate behavior, such as bullying or harassment, will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action or expulsion from the program.
  3. Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial for the success of our team. Cheerleaders are expected to attend all practices and games unless there is a valid reason for absence. If a cheerleader must miss a practice or game, they should inform their coach in advance.
  4. Uniforms: Cheerleaders are expected to wear the designated team uniform to all games and events. Uniforms must be clean and in good condition. Cheerleaders may be required to purchase additional items, such as shoes or warm-up suits.
  5. Parental involvement: We encourage parents to be involved in their child’s cheer experience. We welcome parental support and assistance with team activities, fundraisers, and events.

We believe that by following these policies, we can create a safe, positive, and fun environment for all of our young cheerleaders. Thank you for your cooperation and support!
